Through the Spirit that comes to us in our weakness, we lift up our hearts in prayer.

We pray for Pope Leo and all the bishops of our church. As they continue to sow the seed of the Word, may it yield a rich harvest.

We pray for our national and civic leaders, our lawmakers and those who administer the law. May they take guidance from the teachings of our God of Mercy.

Gracious God, hear the words of your people. Thankful for your love and compassion showered on us in the past, we ask that you continue to fill us with your abundant grace. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
