Through our baptism we share in the priestly prayer of Jesus Christ. In his name we bring before God our prayers for light, healing, justice and peace.

We pray for Pope Leo, our Bishops and all Church leaders. Gifted by the Holy Spirit, may they be an inspiration, in love and true humanity, to all God’s people.

We pray for all nations of the world. May their leaders listen deeply to the voice of God so that they may hear, as Samuel did, the call to be a servant to all.

We pray for all of us who have been baptised into Christ’s Body, the Church. Together may we all be blessed to live faithfully to the teachings of Jesus.

We pray for those who have died recently and for all whose anniversaries occur at this time. May the God of Mercy fulfil the promise of their baptism by welcoming them into eternal life.
