Christ is the Good Shepherd who cares for his flock. Into his hands we entrust our prayers, confident that they will be heard.

We pray for Pope Leo, our good shepherd. May he become a focus of unity for all Christians.

We pray for women and men of faith everywhere that they may be courageous, like St Peter, in proclaiming the ways that God has worked miracles in their lives.

We pray for our faith community. May the model of the Good Shepherd remind us to be more aware of the people around us and to reach out to those in need.

We pray for those who have died recently and for those whose anniversaries occur at this time. May they share the fullness of God’s life, promised by the Good Shepherd who leads them home.

O God, guardian of your people, hear these petitions, brought to you in the faith that you are always there to protect us from adversity. We ask this through Jesus, our risen Lord.
