The Prophet Jeremiah tells us that those who left in tears will be comforted and led back by a smooth path and by streams of water. We offer these prayers for our world and our Church as a sign of our confidence in the God who redeems and restores.

Lord, hear us.
Lord, hear our prayer.
We pray for our community of faith as we prepare to re-open our churches and to gather in person once more. May we be bound together by a unity of purpose and generosity of spirit as together we negotiate the practical challenges of the coming months.
Lord, hear us.
Lord, hear our prayer.

We pray for the sick of our parish and for all who have asked for our prayers.
We pray for those who have died recently and for all whose anniversaries we remember at this time. May they now rejoice in the presence of God’s unconditional love.

Lord, you invite us to approach in faith and to bring our needs and concerns to you so that our lives and your world might be healed. Listen to these our prayers. We ask this in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
