Christ gave of himself that he might lead all people to his Father. In his name, we offer these prayers that our hearts will be open to God’s saving love.

We pray for Pope Leo and all Church leaders. Through their teaching and example may they lead people to the promise and hope of God’s covenant with all creation.

We pray for world leaders. May the Spirit of Jesus empower them to move beyond the temptation of power and control to be willing to serve the needs of their people.

This Sunday we pray for all catechumens and candidates, particularly those attending the Rite of Election. May they feel God’s grace in their lives as they continue on their journey of faith.

We pray for our faith community. During this Lenten Season may we give heed to Jesus’ call to us to repent and believe in the good news.
