With gratitude in our hearts to God for the gift of the human family, we bring our petitions in confidence that we shall be heard.
We pray for Pope Leo as head of the family of the Church. May he be inspired by the life of Jesus to lead his people with the love, guidance and understanding of a devoted father.

We pray for all people who have been forced to separate from their families because of war, persecution or economic conditions. May their hope of being reunited with their loved ones become a reality.

We praise and thank God for the blessings of our immediate and extended families. We ask that we be given the strength to try to heal any wounds that affect the harmony of our relationships.

We pray for our parish family as we worship together. May we hear and heed the word of God and find strength in the Eucharist we share.

We pray for all who have gone before us in death this year, especially family members. We pray especially for those who have died recently and those whose anniversaries occur at this time. May they be welcomed by God to the peace of their heavenly home.
