Joshua reminded the people how God had always protected them. In faith, we seek God’s continued protection today as we offer our prayers of petition.

We pray for Pope Leo and all Church leaders. Through their teaching, may the Good News of God’s Kingdom be open to all people.

We pray for all those forced to leave their home countries and those who have chosen to do so. May we all learn to accept and respect our differences and may our country flourish in the unique gifts we have to offer each other.

We pray for all married couples. May God continue to bless their union as they grow in love for each other and their children.

We pray for our faith community. May we be graced by the Spirit to come to a deeper and more meaningful understanding of Jesus’ words.
