God calls us to be a holy people, open to the cries of the poor and the needy. Let us pray in confidence to God, whose saving grace is for all.

We pray for Pope Francis and all church leaders. May the Spirit of Jesus lead them to proclaim and witness the love he showed towards all God’s people.

We pray for the leaders of our country, both local and federal. May they be given wisdom to guide and boldness to lead.

We pray for those who are preparing for marriage and for those who direct them in their preparation. May they grow in human love and come to understand the strength and power of God’s love as they share in both.
