Our God is a God of mission, inviting us to reach out to those in need. As our response, we bring before God our prayers of intercession.

We pray for Pope Francis and all church leaders. May the Holy Spirit guide them in proclaiming the Good News of God’s kingdom.

We pray for the civil leaders of the world, especially in areas of great tension and struggle. May they be blessed in their efforts to achieve reconciliation and peace.

We pray for those who proclaim God’s word in both word and action. May they be strengthened by the words of Isaiah as he answered God’s call—‘Here I am, send me.’

We pray for all the volunteers of our parish, school and broader community. May their humble and faithful response to the needs of others lead them to the reward of Jesus’ words: ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’
