We pray for political, civil and business leaders throughout the world. May they move beyond power and control, and work for the good of all people.

We pray for all those affected by violence and war, especially those in Ukraine and Russia. May the healing, merciful love of God flood the lives of those who suffer violence, and transform the hearts of those who perpetrate it, so that all homes, communities and nations might become havens of peace.

In this Lenten season, we pray for our faith community, and for a deeper sense of repentance, forgiveness and reconciliation among ourselves and in our world.

God of love, may your peace and mercy be on all those who cry out to you. Grant us the grace to rejoice in your saving Word. We ask this in Jesus’ name.
