We call upon the Father, whose compassion has no bounds, confident that our prayers will be heard.

Reader

We pray for Pope Leo and all bishops of our Church. May we entrust their leadership to the inspiration of the Spirit that Jesus promised would remind us of all that he said.

Lord, hear us.
Lord, hear our prayer.

We pray for the religious and civil leaders of the world, especially in areas of great tensions and struggles. May they be blessed in their efforts to achieve reconciliation and peace.

Lord, hear us.
Lord, hear our prayer.

As we approach the commemoration of Anzac Day, we remember all those people who have given their lives in the defence and service of their country. We pray that God will guide political and military leaders to always serve for justice and peace.

Lord, hear us.
Lord, hear our prayer.

We pray for our faith community that we, like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, may recognise Jesus present in both the Word and the breaking of bread.

Lord, hear us.
Lord, hear our prayer.

We pray for …

Lord hear us.
Lord, hear our prayer.

We pray for the sick of our parish and for all who have asked for our prayers.
We pray for those who have died recently and those whose anniversaries occur at this time. May they receive the fullness of life pledged in their Eucharistic sharing.

Lord, hear us.
Lord, hear our prayer.
